Go the Distance

Helping you provide humanitarian aid for Ukraine

My life is an adventure

I am Fr. Ivan Nahachewsky. I am a Ukrainian Catholic priest, and Military
Chaplain. In July, 2024, I am embarking on a 400km quadrathlon:
swimming, canoeing, ruck marching and biking. My hope, with your
help, is to raise awareness that the war in Ukraine is not over and to
promote and fundraise for Nashi, Ukrainian Patriot and Stream of Hopes.
I invite you to make a donation and to follow and share the Go the
Distance Facebook Page for regular updates. Join the adventure.

Fundraising Goal: $30,000

Amount raised to date:

Go the Distance
Please support Nashi, Stream of Hopes and Ukrainian Patriot in their work of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. These Saskatoon based groups have been doing great work and I want to raise awareness about them and about the ongoing war in Ukraine. They need our support through words and deeds and prayers. I am embarking on a 400km endurance adventure from July 11 to 18 with the hope of finding 300 people to donate $100 each (of course more or less is perfectly acceptable). I will have 5 swimming days of 5 swimming hours per day, then canoeing the rest to total 33 kms. I will do one day of ruck marching (hiking), 42kms with 45 pounds on my back and finally I will do one day of biking for a distance of 183kms.
